My journey into exploring complementary therapies as part of ‘stress busting’ strategies started in 2005. I was curious having drawn the conclusion that so many people I worked with in the corporate world were stressed, and often ill. My role as a business adviser and coach working with small business owners had really reinforced this for me, and I was seeking potential solutions to incorporate into my client action plans.
Through study I gained an understanding of what stress can do to the immune system – the system that helps to keep us fit, well and robust. I had worked with (and still do) far too many people where stress is compromising health.
I became hooked on the obvious benefits of complementary therapies!
My passion for the topic of wellness in the workplace and life in general was birthed, and led me to qualifying in a range
of hands on therapies. I love to use these with clients when relevant, or where I can introduce and train people in practices that you can incorporate into your wellness plans influencing your wellness and those you support and love.

Over a fifteen-year period, I have seen and experienced the benefits of Reiki with individual’s time and time again. I no longer question its results.
I LOVE THIS SIMPLE AND EASILY ACCESSIBLE APPROACH SO MUCH and its benefits that I trained to teach it to others so that people can ‘own’ this wonderful and simple practice and have it available for themselves every day rather than having to go for a treatment.
Massage and Aromatherapy
What is it? Everyone probably knows that a massage can be relaxing but may not know the main benefits and effects
it can have on your body? The following are just a few of the most common benefits:

• Improves joint mobility and flexibility

Aromatherapy essential oils can be used to help to boost health and wellness. Inhaling essential oils stimulates the
olfactory system, the part of the brain connected to smell and the oils are also absorbed into the skin to create effect.
The oils are chosen depending upon the requirement of the massage and your aroma preference.
What is it? Reflexology works on the feet to help heal the whole person and not just the prevailing symptoms. It can be used to restore and maintain the body’s natural equilibrium and the gentle therapy encourages the body to work naturally to restore its own healthy balance.
The feet and hands are a blueprint of the whole body and regular reflexology treatments not only helps to reduce stress and tension, they can also speed recovery from a wide range of acute and chronic illnesses.
The Balance Procedure
